We had a busy Halloween day visiting with lots of special friends and family.
First we went into my workplace to say a meow... er hello to all my co-workers. It was great to see everyone and see how awesome people looked with their Halloween get ups! As they were having a potluck that day the office smelled so good! Mmmm... bet it was delicious!
Then off to the mall with Alexa and the sweetest little Tigger I have ever seen. We had a wonderful visit over lunch and even got to do some shopping while the kitty had her nap!

| Yup... He's a little stud! |
Next we went out to Airdrie to visit with the Righton's and their cutie little strawberry! It is always so fun to see our girls together, watching them as they grow in their interactions and friendship! We got to leave with some special memories... and a few baggies of homemade Halloween goodies courtesy of Jen's fabulous baking skills! Yum!

| Carys: "Hey Emilie... Check out my Elmo!" |
 |
| Emilie: "Uh oh" |
 |
| Sweetest little berry in the patch! |
 |
| Ghost music fun |
We then went to the Zanidean's for the main event of the evening!! Trick or treating!! Emilie always loves seeing her cousins. You can see when she looks at them she just adores them! After some trick or treat practicing, a yummy supper, sparkle application, a "too tight" wing situation, make-up touch ups, and some bundle upping... we were off!

| Soooooo Ready! |
 |
| Ready. Set. Go. |
It was Emilie's first time out and she did great. We were left in the dust by speedy Kaitlin and Sarah who knew EXACTLY what to do! Emilie loved walking herself... often refusing my hand, looking at all the decorations and occasionally going to the door to ask for some treats! I loved seeing her say thank you in sign language, totally warms my heart as her mom to see her showing her gratitude.

The look says it all!
I have candy... and I'm done. |
After we did the first street it was time to go in for Lynn, Leah, Em and I so Jemahl could take the big girls out to another street. After a quick snack, it was time to say goodbye and we were on our way again. Thanks for such a fun and excitement packed night Zanideans!!
Last stop for the night was at Jessica and Matt's place. Even though it was a quick stop, it was full of lots hugs and some special "helping" to give out candy to the trick or treaters in their neighborhood.
What a day! So busy. So fun. So worth it to see the joy that it brought to my girl! ... and yes it took us a full day to recover! Haha!
Yep. Sounds like a very busy day! You are a great mom in all that you do for Emilie. She will appreciate it all so much one day.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute little kitty. I didn't ask earlier, but I'm assuming the costume is designed and made by you?! It's great!
