Pool Party

Yesterday we had a cousin pool party at Cardel place!

What wet fun!!

The girls all enjoyed splashing, kicking, playing and "swimming" in the water!

and we... enjoyed running after them!

This time we missed Janell and the new cousin (who is still residing in utero) as they joined us on our last pool adventure to the Village Square Leisure Center! Hopefully next time!!

Mmmm mm mmmmm! This year we had a delicious gluten-free family thanksgiving dinner. It was hosted by Lynn and Jemahl... the now gluten-free gurus! Lynn had the room beautifully set up in fall decor and thankfulness details! It was just so cute! With the two guru's meal planning, mom's helping powerhouse, a few sides by Janell and I and wine from my dad... it turned out wonderfully! We had a few new contenders in the regular thanksgiving dish line up... biscuits, oven roasted potatoes, apple grape salad, alcohol-free sangria and a gluten-free apple crisp. They were all needless to say, very impressive! Everything was yummy and left us all with full bellies and smiles on our faces!

It was nice to be together to celebrate, but we did miss Sam and Mark as they were still up north on rotation. The boys, who are lucky to be at the same camp right now celebrated with a workout then a non traditional thanksgiving meal at the Surmont health food cafeteria!

Looking forward to our next family gathering where we are ALL together!!
